As a traditional hard, dark coloured rock, with a rustic appearance, Whinstone natural stone has been extensively used in hardscape and streetscape settings for hundreds of years.

Quarried in the UK, Whinstone has historically been used for paving, kerbs, setts and walling and exclusively used in heritage projects across Scotland and northern England.
