BBS Granite Supplied to Public Realm at London’s Regent’s Place

With a surge of redevelopments in London, upmarket Regent’s Place was keen to keep up

Regent's Place has become a modern hub of stylish buildings for businesses in the banking, radio, retail and leisure sectors all located around a central public realm area that now hosts entertainment with dance, music and theatre. As you can see from our images, it’s also a stunning place to relax or socialise whilst watching the busy city rush by.

With a large area of 3,000m2 to design, the teams had to think about quality as well as attractiveness and came up with a clean design of paving to complement the ‘Giant’s Causeway’ inspired seating areas. BBS Whitworth Blue York stone paving was supplied to contractor P J Carey along with the perfect choice of Azul Estremadura Spanish granite paving and blocks with it’s strong colour tone and crisp patterns.

These ‘Giant’s Causeway’ blocks were manufactured in Spain and transported over after the larger blocks were hollowed out to ensure the weight was minimal as they stand over the car park below. BBS Granite planters were also supplied to direct the flow of pedestrians in and around the public space and add areas of natural greenery.

BBS Natural Stone along with P J Carey provided expertise and professionalism in completing the refurbishment on time and accelerating the delivery schedule for the client.
