The "Giants Causeway" of Regents Place

'Regents Place' is located opposite Warren Street Tube Station in Central London.

The scheme is part of continuing development and upgrading of the area, with further changes about to commence at 'Euston Circus' which links directly to this site. BBS is currently supplying all the natural stone needs for the project, including one of our indigenous Yorkstones, granite from our Portuguese range, and the largest areas of paving being supplied from our Spanish Azul granite range.

The exacting standards set out by the client for the scheme has meant numerous visits to our supply chain in Portugal and Spain, with return visits being made by factory representatives to carry out on site quality checks, a regime not unusual to BBS. Part of the project called for an innovative and stylish seating arrangement to be designed in a style similar to that of the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland. This has been achieved by manufacturing differing sized blocks using our Spanish Azul granite; they have been hollowed out to varying degrees and set onto galvanised steel frames, creating a variance in height. There will be a number of seating areas created in this way, and we have shown the first to be completed in an image below.
