BBS Awarded Contract to Supply Natural Stone for Memorial Wall at Stockton-on-Tees Crematorium

Whinstone walling and copings selected to provide the perfect ambience at state-of-the-art crematorium.

Working on behalf of Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and contractor Esh Construction, BBS has been commissioned to supply natural stone for a memorial wall at a brand new crematorium in Stockton-on-Tees.

Tasked to supply an indigenous UK natural stone that evokes an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity, BBS presented a number of options to the clients for consideration, with Whinstone walling and copings being selected.

The crematorium, which will be a single story building with two service chapels, will feature the natural stone memorial wall, tranquil gardens of remembrance and a granite water feature and is due for completion at the end of 2019.
