Stone-Coat is an innovative Light Stone which offers a range of architectural mouldings manufactured to almost any profile or shape.
As a unique stone-effect product that solves the weight issues of traditional cast-stone, Stone-Coat allows the designer complete flexibility.
It is made from high-density yet lightweight polystyrene which is then coated with unique layers of material that looks like stone, feels like stone, and yet is substantially lighter than stone. It is very cost-effective and can be used in almost any normal masonry-stone application. Stone-Coat particularly lends itself to large-section heavy components such as a cornice or copings.

Perfect for commercial and residential projects, Stone Coat offers design flexibility with a wide range of finishes and colours, that can be profile matched to existing features if required. This cost effective, low maintenance product can also be retrofitted to enhance the aesthetic appearance of any building and easily maintained thereafter.
From the more complex designs of columns and balustrades to a simple band course, we can provide a range of architectural shapes to suit any specification that will give your project a unique visual appearance. It is an ideal solution for coping stones, door surrounds, cills, heads, keystones and corbels - all of which can be included when specifying Stone Coat mouldings.
Ideally used in conjunction with render as a stone dressing alternative or as a render stop, installation of Stone-Coat decorative mouldings is fast and easy, saving you time and labour without compromise to the finished product.
Monument/Signage
BBS also offers a complete range of monument signs with lettering and custom logos which are pre-manufactured to your own specification. This is a lightweight durable product that can be coated with BBS's special Stone Coat finish or coloured to your individual requirements. Traditional printed signs can also be incorporated using the Stone-Coat trims as a border.

Litestack Lightweight Chimney Solutions
Also part of our Light Stone range, Litestack provides a range of complete chimney solutions based on a ready to install, one piece chimney stack. Lightweight and easy to use, the chimney is simply lifted into position, bolted onto the roof trusses and leaded in the normal way. Chimney's can be positioned on the gable end, along the ridge or mono pitched.
With a realistic and look and feel, the Litestack Chimney range is cost effective for both commercial and private residential installation and includes stone, rendered and traditional brick finishes. As with all brick finishes, each chimney is carefully matched to materials used in the project.
All chinmeys can be supplied with an approved gas terminal and suitable flue pipes and are robust and weatherproof.
Chimney pots are available in Terracotta, Buff or Black finish and can be mixed and matched to suite the style of chimney.
Installation couldn't be easier... Litestack is supplied with a complete fixing kit and detailed fixing instructions. The chimneys can be installed immediately after the rafters are in place using a telescopic fork lift or light crane.
